Diabetes is a rising healthcare concern for those who have it, and those who don’t. It is caused by a disarray of the metabolism effecting how the body digests the intake of food used for energy and growth. There are things you can do to reduce the risk of diabetes. Here are a few tips. The number one is to watch your weight. Prepare meals that are low in calories. This is a good way to avoid diabetes. Include plenty of vegetables and a variety of fruits in your diet. This will help reduce the risk. Decrease the amount of sugary drinks you intake. Excessive drinks, increases your risk tremendously.

Stay active. Include a daily routine of exercise. Riding a bike, a brisk walk around the block, or a few minutes of jumping jacks and running in place will increase the body’s ability to produce insulin. So, how can you prevent diabetes?
