Low Blood Sugar Symptoms & Signs of High Blood Sugar Levels

More and more people are being diagnosed with diabetes daily. Even more frightening news is there are many who are suffering from low blood sugar symptoms also termed hypoglycemia but are unaware of their medical condition. The condition goes undiagnosed because most people are unable to recognize even the symptoms of high blood sugar level.
However if a person is unable to recognize the symptoms of low glucose in blood the condition can become extremely dangerous. The onset of the chain of reactions comes rapidly. Generally the effects of hypoglycemia are mild but if the blood sugar level fall too low the reaction may become sever as well.
High Blood Glucose Symptoms: In case the blood glucose level goes up the signs sets in slowly. The reactions of these signs make the person ill. The person feels extremely thirsty, tired and feel an urge to urinate quite often. His vision may also start to blur. In case the blood sugar level become too high the person may feel nauseous or even may vomit
Low Blood Sugar Symptoms: The signs of low blood glucose levels are that a person feels shaky, confused, hungry, tired or unhappy for no reason. His legs may become shaky, sweat a lot or experience a headache. If the blood glucose drops down suddenly too low he may even pass out or may experience a seizure.
Causes of High Blood Glucose Level: High blood glucose is generally the outcome of any infection or because of stress. The condition may also set in if the person forget to take his diabetes medicine or he eats too much or he didn’t had his routine or enough exercise. Sometimes certain medications also results in an increase the glucose level.
Causes of Low Sugar In Blood: A person may experience a decline in the level of glucose in blood if he takes excessive insulin, miss a meal, delay a meal, exercise excessively or drink plenty of alcohol. The case is same with medicines; like sometimes certain medications for different problems may result in a steep decline in the level of blood glucose.
It is important to talk to the doctor immediately if a person experiences the sign of either low of high glucose level in blood. The doctor is in a better position of diagnosing the condition and the underlying cause. He can design a routine diet and exercise plan for you so you can avoid having such seizures in future.
