Most of their friends will come to their home and play indoor games instead of playing outside and breathing some fresh air. Indeed this lifestyle has been the major factor for becoming weak and prone to diseases.

You may not know it because it isn’t easy to detect. We should know the early signs of diabetes so that we could do something about it and help our body fight it before it is too late and we got other related problems. If you know any medical practitioner about diabetes then it would be advisable to consul them for advices on diets, medications, and exercises. Diabetes is unlike other health related problem wherein we could just forget about it once it has been treated; it is a lifetime disease that we must learn to control.

Weakening

This is the earliest sign that I felt with my body. I was on the Gym that day and doing my usual routine when I felt that I felt I was weak. I know that it was not my limit since I was doing that exercise on a daily routine. The moment that I got home, I told my mother about it and she tested my blood sugar level with a blood sugar level tester, this is the time that we found out that I did have diabetes. My blood sugar that day was 360.

Frequent urination

As time passes, I just noticed that I am urinating more times as usual in a single day.

Thirstiness

As usual since I am urinating more than before, I have to replace the fluids in my body by drinking a lot of water. Before knowing that I have diabetes, I never thought of it that way but now that I am aware I realized that it was a sign of diabetes.

Feeling hungry most of the time

Before I was diagnosed with diabetes, I have always felt that I need to eat something at night before going to sleep. I felt hungry most of the time that it was too hard for me to rest. Now I am keeping a biscuit on my room so that I could munch on it whenever I am feeling hungry.

Sudden drop of weight

Although I never felt this symptom before I believe it is one of the symptoms that everyone should be aware of. Experts say that some diabetic drop their weight even they aren’t doing some exercise and diet.

Honesty, I would want that to happen to me since my doctor said that I need to loose weight.

Tiredness

I find out that I become tired easily even I am not doing anything. I need to stay in bed and to regain my strength. This is the reason why I decided to stay and work at home in the first place. I don’t believe that any employer offline would understand it.

Dizziness

I am feeling dizzy most to the time that I need to stop working even though I am just working inside my room. I am forced to sleep during daytime, this must be the reason why I am finding it hard to sleep at night, and I have already slept during the day.

Poor Vision

I am not suffering from this but my mother is and is having some trouble seeing clearly anything that she is looking at.

You may not notice some of this but the important thing is that you should be aware of this. Once you have notice that symptoms of diabetes, it is advisable to consult a doctor.

Keeping diabetes under control should start with a healthy lifestyle. A regular and balanced diet can work miracles on your blood sugar levels. Here are some points to remember when building a diabetic diet plan.

Build a meals timetable and follow it religiously. Try to eat at the same hours each day. This can be tricky if, for example, you work in shifts or don’t have a lunch break but, to the furthest extent possible, try to follow a regular meal schedule. You could even go as far as asking to do only day shifts, even if this means a cut in salary. Remember, your health is at stake.

Switch to a healthier, organic diet. Stay away from all foods that have a large dosage of carbohydrates (potato chips, pizza and anything baked with white flour) and totally eliminate soft drinks from your life. They contain huge amounts of sugar (a couple of teaspoons per cup) that will poison your body and make your blood glucose level go through the roof. Starches, fruit, green vegetables, low fat milk and derivatives (like yogurt) should be on your day to day menu. As refreshments, natural juices are recommended, provided they are consumed in moderation and don’t contain large amounts of glucose. Sugar has to be replaced by alternative sweeteners. Alcohol is known to raise the blood glucose level, so avoid it.

When in doubt on what and how you should eat, ask your diabetes treatment team for advice. Your physician should advise you on the right dosage of insulin or pills per day and how you should adjust it according to what you eat, and your dietitian should be able to help you build a diet plan that suits your lifestyle, your daily routine and the way you usually eat.

If weight loss is essential for people who are obese, it is more so for those affected by diabetes. And if a person is obese and has diabetes at the same time, then weight loss becomes mandatory. If you are obese or have diabetes or suffer from both conditions, you need to follow a program to burn stomach fat at a faster pace. If you had already made an attempt to lose weight and had failed, you can try some of the sure fire methods outlined below to lose weight naturally as well as in a more consistent manner:

? First of all, consult with your physician or dietitian before attempting to follow any program. With their assistance, set a short-term goal which would be easy for you to achieve. Attempt to lose 5% of your weight initially. Setting small goals and achieving them would motivate you and help you stick to the program.

? Start following a physical exercise program recommended by your physician. Physical exercise increases your body’s metabolism and helps you to lose more weight quickly. If working out at the gym or outdoors is difficult for you, you can use your backyard to do your workouts. Once exercise becomes a part of your daily routine, you will feel awful even if you skip a single day.

? Avoid all junk food and stick to a healthy diet prescribed by your physician or dietitian. This would really help you to burn stomach fat faster. The diet would also go a long way in treating your diabetes as well.

? A good night’s sleep is also extremely important for your body when it is losing weight. Going to bed early will help your body to get adequate rest. You can also wake up fresh the next morning and follow your daily exercise routine to burn stomach fat. On the other hand, going to bed late or cutting down on sleep can lead to more health problems.

Once your body and mind become accustomed to the idea of living a healthy lifestyle by exercising daily to burn stomach fat and following a healthy diet to combat your diabetes, you will begin to start losing weight in a more consistent manner, which is one of the safest methods for people suffering from diabetes.
